“How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives.”
Annie Dillard

The church calendar is full of many different liturgical feast days, but most of our lives are lived in Ordinary Time.  This means that it’s important for us to find meaning and beauty in the ordinary.

Christ Churchers (including youth!) are invited to submit a piece of 2D work or short-form writing to our next exhibition: “Ordinary Life.” These works will celebrate the ordinary moments of our days – the things that bring us joy, the times that feel mundane or magical, and the hard, challenging moments too.

The exhibition will be installed in the Parish Hall on the morning of July 3; you or your representative must be able to bring in your work and stay to help if needed (or make other arrangements ahead of time).  Pieces must be ready to hang.

Deadline for entries: June 30
Maximum size is 3×3 feet.

Questions? Ask them here.

Ready to enter?  Fill out the form below and you will be contacted and asked to submit your piece over email.  We look forward to seeing your work!

Please note: while we welcome challenging subject matter, we reserve the right to decide whether a particular piece is appropriate for inclusion in this exhibition.

The entry deadline has now passed.  Thank you for your interest!
