Identity is the theme of my work– whether the identities we try on in our search for meaning or those identities that flow out of our relationships with Christ and the people in our lives.
I hope those who experience my work allow themselves, as I do, to question the wells from which we draw our lives. What are our motivations? What gives us hope in our own authentic journey when despair is beckoning?
Watercolor painting is a joyful calling for me. Every stage of creating— from the photography to the planning, drawing, and actual painting—is a challenge. I think of my work as prayer and I hope for HIs glory. That is my story.
